Breaking into the travel industry is no easy feat. With dominant players like Booking and Expedia owning the SERPs, our client—a travel and ticketing platform—needed a disruptive SEO plan.
The campaign was structured in four strategic phases. First, I resolved severe technical issues: poor Core Web Vitals, broken internal links, inefficient crawl paths, and canonical conflicts. I rebuilt the internal linking architecture to form cohesive topic clusters and fixed thin content issues dragging down the domain.
Phase two focused on content revamp: creating cluster-based guides around “cheap flights,” “hotel deals,” and “event tickets.” I structured pages to win featured snippets and voice search, added rich schema, and introduced People Also Ask targeting.
In phase three, I launched a link-building campaign with Instalinko—securing over 200+ travel-specific links and growing DR from 15 to 33. Finally, phase four deployed InstaRankers, our viral traffic engine, to push stubborn keywords out of SERP limbo. In several cases, keywords jumped from page 2 to top 5 within hours.
Result: +364.8% increase in organic traffic, +7900% impressions, and a 32% boost in conversion rate. This case proves that even in cutthroat verticals, smart SEO can outmaneuver giants.
